Badgers men's soccer lose 5-0 to McMaster

 HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock University men's soccer team (3-8-3 OUA) lost 5-0 to the McMaster Marauders (8-2-3 OUA) on Friday in Hamilton.

The Marauders had five different goal scorers: freshman Gersi Xhuti (Etobicoke, Ont.), sophomore Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.), freshman Brandon Gutierrez (Brampton, Ont.) and senior Aaron Boothe (Whitby, Ont.). The other Marauders goal scorer was not reported.

Marauders freshman goaltender Angelo Cavalluzzo (Hamilton, Ont.) made one save for his third shutout of the season. Badgers senior keeper Ryan Toale (Brampton, Ont.) made nine saves in the loss.

The Badgers will play their last regular season game Wednesday, October 19 when they make the trip to Waterloo to take on the Warriors (3-8-0 OUA).

With 12 points, the Badgers sit seventh in the OUA West and are three points out of the last playoff spot.
