The Brock University men's hockey team (13-14-1 OUA West, 2-0 playoffs) will take on the No. 4 ranked Western Mustangs in the OUA West Semi-Finals beginning Wednesday night on the road in the best 2-out-of-3 series.
Game 2 is schedule for Friday, February 24th at 7:25 pm at the Seymour-Hannah Centre and Game 3 if necessary is back in London Sunday.
vs WESTERN: This is the third meeting this season between Brock and Western. The two teams split the regular season series with Western winning 5-0 at home on November 26th and Brock winning 2-1 at the Seymour-Hannah Centre on January 11th.
1st ROUND SWEEP: In the opening round of the OUA Playoffs, the No. 6 seeded Brock Badgers knocked off the No. 3 seeded Waterloo Warriors in two straight games. In game One, the Bafgers defeated Waterloo by the score of 2-1 in double overtime on the road. Friday night at home in Game Two, Brock added four first period goals on route to the 7-4 victory and the series sweep.
IN THE STANDINGS: The Badgers ended the 2011-12 regular season in 6th place in the OUA West with a 13-14-1 record. Western captured 1st place in the OUA West with a 21-4-3 record.
